What is Staking and Why Do It?

Staking $FJO allows you to earn two types of rewards: $FJO and points. When you stake your $FJO, you help support the platform’s growth while receiving rewards for your participation.

$FJO: These rewards come from a portion of the protocol's revenue that is allocated towards market buybacks. The more $FJO you stake, the greater your share of buyback rewards.

points: When you stake $FJO, you also earnpoints. These can be used for future allocations (to bid for participation in token launches) and to participate in airdrops of project tokens.

In addition to $FJO token distribution, the Fjord team may also burn tokens over time to reduce the overall supply. Buybacks dedicated to $FJO rewards or burns are decided ad hoc, depending on market conditions and the price of $FJO.
